•This is a fully donated 22” x 28” framed original oil painting on canvas by
famed wildlife artist Cynthie Fisher.
•Cynthie describes her work of art this way: “A rare snow leopard pauses on a snowy
cliff in the Himalayas as an old ibex skull and horns lie in the snow beneath him.”
•A longtime supporter of GSCO, Cynthie has traveled to central Asia several times,
witnessing snow leopard tracks and finding old kills, such a privilege for the biologist,
artist, and hunter that she is!
•She has hunted on almost every continent, amassing an impressive number of trophies,
as well as invaluable references for her artwork. Cynthie has been a professional artist
for over 35 years, and has added sculpture, glass mosaics and mixed media sculpting
to her repertoire.
•Cynthie’s list of artistic accomplishments includes 19 Duck Stamp awards, many times
featured artist for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Ducks Unlimited, cover artist
