•Golden Opportunity Deer Tags are valid statewide, from the second Saturday in July and extending through December 31 of the
valid hunt year.
•Tagholders shall report to the Assistant Chief, Law Enforcement Division at the appropriate Department of Fish and Game Regional
Headquarters prior to hunting as to the time and area they intend to hunt.
•Season Dates: Golden Opportunity tags shall be valid beginning on the second Saturday in July and extend through December 31.
•Bag and Possession Limit: One buck, forked horn or better, per tag.
•A tagholder may take any legal buck, using any legal method of take for deer.
•This permit is subject to all existing conditions required for the take of deer in California. The permit is non-transferable and may be used only
by the purchaser. Any resident or non-resident is eligible to bid on and receive this Special Permit. Previous purchasers are also eligible to
bid on this Special Permit. For additional information, contact Regina Vu at (916) 516-2132.
•NOTE: Nonprofit organizations auctioning or selling fund-raising license tags shall clearly indicate in all advertisements and to potential
tag recipients that such tags are subject to all existing conditions required for the take of the species. Tags shall be nontransferable.
•100% to Conservation. No buyer’s premium added.
•It is the high bidder’s responsibility to check on any international travel requirements.
