• This is a four-day hunt on the scenic South Island of New Zealand between
March and July 2020. It cannot be delayed to another year.
• Hunting for your large antlered red stag will be in the lush, rolling hill country
on Four Seasons’ exclusive property.
• The tahr hunting areas are reputed to be some of the best in New Zealand, but
require helicopter access. The helicopter cost would be the responsibility of
the high bidder and would be approximately $2500 +/-.
• The hunt includes guiding, meals, field accommodations, transfers to and from
Christchurch International Airport, and the trophy fees for any size tahr and
$1,000 credit toward the fees for the red stag.
• The high bidder is welcome to hunt with rifle, bow or muzzleloader.
• This exciting hunt can be extended for extra days, upgraded for additional
animals, or upgraded to resort lodge accommodations ($450 per night). Other
hunters and non-hunters are welcome at the regular rates.
• This hunt cannot be taken in conjunction with any other New Zealand hunt, or
hunt already booked with Four Seasons Safaris.
