Unfold legs on BI-BOD and place Rifle support so V block rest is up against pistol grip part of stock adjust rest to slope of your stock and tighten, No further adjustment needed, except to check tightness, for rifles not using BI-POD place sand bags etc. Front of rifle so it is somewhat elevated with rest in position.

In shooting position crosshairs should be above impact point for the coarse adjustment, short leg BI-PODS may need to extend legs some, rifles without BI-PODS will to adjust as needed rest can be moved back farther if needed to better fit your position, once in your shooting position you need only to keep a grip on the base and with thumb and forefinger rotate dial counter clockwise to lower cross hairs down to impact point.

Second design is same as first with an additional feature it is telescopic so that you can use on BI-PODS with longer legs or steep down hill shots with support in position under stock loosen thumb screw, raise as needed for coarse adjustment, it is spring loaded and will follow. Snug thumb screw and rotate base 180o or to place thumb screw at the 3 o’clock position this will allow for a firm grip with no interfence.
