• This polar bear hunt may be taken this spring (2019). The
hunt dates will probably be May 1-31, 2019. Shane says
that it would also be possible to make this a September/
October 2019 hunt, or even postpone until spring 2020.
• This hunt will be conducted using snowmobiles, except
for the final part of the hunt, which is conducted by
dogsled.
• Accommodations will be in tents, but at times cabins, and
of course all meals are included. There will be one guide
and one sub-guide for your hunt, so you will be taken care
of very well.
• Also included will be the 5% Canadian GST.
• It should be known that polar bears are not importable
into the U.S. or Mexico at this time. However, there is
no shortage of bears, and just to experience this amazing
hunting opportunity and contribute to the conservation of
the great white bear is good enough for most hunters.
