This is an exceptional conservation tag, developed in partnership with
the outfitter and the Government of Uzbekistan, and represents a
true conservation success story. The recent recognition of the Kugitang
markhor by GSCO further demonstrates the conservation benefits
generated by GSCO members in pursuit of its milestones and reinforces that
HUNTING IS THE #1 CONSERVATION TOOL.
Proceeds from this auction support critical local and community-based
conservation efforts within Uzbekistan. Current initiatives include genetic
and DNA studies to better define the relationship between the indigenous
Uzbek markhor and the neighboring Bukharan markhor populations. In
addition, the portion of the proceeds received by GSCO for this tag will
be reinvested into GSCONSERVATION programs and hunter advocacy
initiatives worldwide.
A portion of the purchase price may be eligible for charitable tax purposes.
•This is a three-day 1 x 1 hunt for a Kugitang markhor in the Surxondaryo
region of Uzbekistan.
•It may be upgraded to include Bukharan urial ($50,000).
•The hunt dates are March 2026 – December 2026, and it may
be delayed to 2027.
•Extra hunters are welcome based on discussions with the outfitter; non
hunters at $2,000.
•The arrival/departure point with this GSCO Outfitter Diamond
Sponsor is the city of either Tashkent or Termez.
•Included are visa invitation, hunting license, gun import permit, trophy fee
for one Kugitang markhor of any size, area fees, customs clearance,
transfer to and from nearest airport to destination, full accommodations at
hunting lodge, and interpreter and local guide.
•Not included are visa costs, international and domestic airfares, hotel
before and after the hunt, insurances, exportation of trophy shipment, and
gratuities.
•The addition of the Kugitang markhor to GSCO’s Capra milestones is the
result of an extensive on-going collaboration with Falcon Hunting
Solutions and the Uzbekistan wildlife authorities, emphasizing species
awareness, conservation efforts, and habitat preservation.
•It is the high bidder’s responsibility to check on any international travel
requirements.

Pickup and Shipping
The high bidder is responsible for pickup of purchased items in a timely manner before the conclusion of the convention. The Auction Volunteer Team will be available in the Banquet/Auction hall at the payment table to assist you in obtaining your item. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the high bidder. Our staff will work with you to find the best method to ship purchased items that cannot be taken by the high bidders. GSCO assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. Terms of Sale
Any bid, whether at the live auction, online or by phone, constitutes an OFFER TO PURCHASE the item being presented at the time. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf. Being the high bidder for an item requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the conclusion of the auction or directly thereafter.
REFUND POLICY
All sales are final. In no event shall Buyer seek reimbursement from GSCO and Buyer acknowledges and agrees that GSCO is not liable to refund the purchase price or any portion thereof.
Auction Procedures
The auctioneer and his staff run the auction. Their rules and decisions will be final. If during the live auction, a final bid for an item is erroneously taken from two bidders, the bidding is closed to everyone else except those two bidders. The high bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser; the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder in any auction. At each live auction, there will be pre-designated bid spotters in the audience, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to direct bids to the nearest spotter. The auctioneer and spotters will make every attempt to acknowledge all desired bids, but GSCO is not responsible for any missed bids or bids that fail to be executed.
The high bidder for a hunt or trip is responsible for making arrangements directly with the donor in a timely manner. It IS NOT the obligation of the donor or Grand Slam Club/Ovis to contact the high bidder. The high bidder is responsible for following the same procedure as if the hunt or trip had been booked directly with the provider.
Online Bidding
All online bidders will be required to pay a 3% buyer’s premium plus an additional 3% credit card administrative fee.
You will be asked to provide the following information: full name, email address, billing address, phone number, credit card number which an address verification system (avs) is completed. Items purchased through the online auction will be shipped by a GSCO representative and shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from GSCO auction team for verification.
HUNTS
Although GSCO has used its reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts and trips, it has no control over the operation of the donor and cannot and does not guarantee that the hunt or trip will be to the Buyer’s satisfaction. The Buyer understands and agrees that it is his/her responsibility to make all arrangements for hunt or trip dates, including travel and completion of filing of all necessary documents, including applications for licenses and permits. GSCO cannot guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during a hunt. Some hunts are subject to VAT and GST tax liabilities, which sometimes are due and payable before the hunt can be taken. Buyer understands and agrees that GSCO is not responsible for these fees and that it is the Buyer’s responsibility to pay these fees unless other arrangements are made with the donor.
In no event shall GSCO, its directors, officers, agents, employees, or representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages however causes and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way or form out of the Buyer’s purchase of trips, hunts, goods, services, or anything else purchased by Buyer at auction.
FIREARMS
Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. GSCO will ship the firearm through a Firearms License (FFL) holder, at the expense of the purchaser, to a Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after the event.
